The following list represents organizations that provide services to all residents of Carroll County. Of note, The Brooks Center is home to seven not-for-profit organizations that provide services. The center is conveniently located just one block east of State Road 421 (Washington St.) at 901 Prince William Road in Delphi.

Family Health Clinic of Carroll County
The Family Health Clinic is staffed by nurse practitioners and nurses, the Family Health Clinic provides health services and treatment options for the entire community at a reasonable cost. The Family Health Clinic welcomes Medicaid recipients and uninsured individuals. In many cases fees are adjusted based upon the ability to pay.
Family Health Clinic of Burlington

Carroll County Health Department
Immunizations for children belonging to Indiana CHIRP program. Work with school nurses and programs.
Carroll County Senior and Family Services
Provides programs, meals and other opportunities for Senior Citizens to socialize. These include Thursday luncheons, shopping trips, bingo, art classes and other events.
Area IV Agency on Aging and Community Action Programs, Inc.
Area IV is a not-for-profit organization committed to providing a better quality of life for older adults, disabled and disadvantaged citizens of all ages. The Agency offers programs such as in-home services, energy assistance, weatherization, money management, Head Start pre-school and housing programs for income-eligible individuals.
Planned Parenthood Lafayette Health Center
All services are strictly confidential. Pre- and post-test counseling are provided to discuss prevention measures and follow-up care if the test is positive. Hepatitis-C testing offered to anyone with identified risk factor such as IV-drug use, blood transfusion prior to 1992, sex partner of someone who has Hepatitis-C, tattooed with contaminated needles/ink or other reported blood exposure.
Purdue University School of Nursing
Visits are made once a week when school is in session. Call for intake and assessment.
Burlington-Windfall Apartments
Subsidized apartments with congregate meal site.
Camden-Jackson Housing
Apartments for Senior Citizens or Disabled persons in the county.
Delphi Housing
Apartments for Senior Citizens or Disabled persons in the county.
Flora Senior Apartments
Apartments for Senior Citizens or Disabled persons in the county.
Nursing Home Ombudsman
Advocates for residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and county homes. Receives, investigates, and attempts to resolve problems or complaints affecting residents.
Flora Senior Center
Provides nutritious meals for Senior Citizens in Burlington, Camden, Delphi, and Flora.
Rossville Area Transit Van
Provides transportation for Senior Citizen and disabled to appointments. Priority is for medical appointments first, then local shopping and other appointments.
First Presbyterian Church/Deacon's Closet
Limited assistance to needy families for food, utilities, and other temporary needs in the Delphi area
Indiana Legal Services, Inc.
Provides legal assistance to low income families and the elderly. Eligibility is by income and case situation guidelines.
Carroll County Adult Education Program
Adult-education classes are available every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. Class participants must be age 16 or older. The classes are free of charge: Basic Reading, GED Classes, College Preparation, ESL coming soon. Programs focus on academic, life skills, and workforce development.
YWCA
Services provided to victims of domestic violence (male and female) in both English and Spanish. Services include legal and child advocacy, support groups, education and outreach to greater community and victims.
Baeur Community Center
Community Partners is a free, voluntary prevention program for parents with children from birth to age 17 interested in strengthening their family and keeping their children safe and thriving.
Lirio Thrift Shop
Provides another avenue for subsidizing programs for children and adults. This operation has also raised community awareness, provided a valuable service to the community by offering affordable clothing, furniture, and housewares, as well as provide a training site for individuals who are interested in retail work.
Jacob's Closet at Freedom Center
Assist families with needed items. Besides clothing, they have some dishes, small appliances, etc.
Carroll County Department of Child Services
CPS is an investigative process for reported allegation of abuse or neglect of any person under the age of 18.
Valley Oaks Health, Inc.
Individual, group and family counseling services to address a wide variety of emotional needs of children. We have staff addressing sexual abuse, ADHD, grief/loss and many other topics facing children.
Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)
The WIC office is staffed by nurses and nutritionists who monitor the well-being of eligible mothers and their small children, providing health screenings, nutritional counseling and vouchers for healthy foods.
Carroll Manor
Carroll Manor cares for people who are older, developmentally disabled, or for various reasons unable to live on their own, yet don’t require nursing care.
WorkOne
The WorkOne office provides connections to local employers, links to community and area resources, and effective job search training including preparing a resume, improving interviewing skills and completing an application. The WorkOne office offers counseling and guidance for obtaining advanced education as well as assistance in obtaining a GED. Financial assistance for occupational training may be available.
Agape Fund - Delphi UMC
Financial assistance with a maximum of $50 every month. Assistance can be used for food, utilities, and other temporary needs.
