Sports
In addition to Golfing, fishing, canoeing and boating, other sporting activities also abound in Carroll County.
Baseball & Softball
Town & County Baseball & Softball League covers several counties including Carroll. It sponsors co-ed sports for children from ages eight to 14.
- The Burlington Jr. League sponsors Little League and Girls Softball as well as T-ball for boys and girls ages 4-6. Little League has teams for ages 6-8, 9-10, and 11-12. Girls softball has teams for 8, 10, 12, and 14 and under.
- Camden Youth Baseball & Softball involves children ages 3-14. Girls Chairman is Andy Kelly at 574-686-2737 and Boys Chairman is Rod Moudy at 574-686-2277.
- Delphi Youth Baseball is a member of the Town & Country League and serves children ages 4-12.
- Delphi Pony League information is available from Dave Murray at 765-564-3844.
- Delphi Girls Softball is a summer recreation program for ages 6-15. Participation forms are available at Delphi Community Elementary School and Middle School.
- Flora Girls Softball serves ages 5-16 at the Flora Community Park. Gail Ennis, 574-967-3965, coordinates activities.
- Flora Baseball is coordinated by Susan Denny at 574-967-4984. T-ball, Minor, and Major Little League teams are included.
- Flora Pony League plays at Flora Community Park and is organized by Lonnie Spesard at 574-967-4595.
- Colt League baseball for 15 and 16 year olds is available regionally with teams formed by students from multiple schools.
Abby & Libby Memorial Park hosts softball and baseball games. The park has three fields, an amphitheater, picnic shelters, multi-purpose building with a concession stand and public restrooms. The park also has four playgrounds and a walking trail. Information about the park is available at their website.

Available for children ages 4-13 in age brackets.
Wrestling
Carroll Cougars Wrestling Club

Racing
Wildcat Creek MX
A large Motocross Racing facility is located in southern Carroll County on Wildcat Creek near Pyrmont. Wildcat Creek MX offers facilities for spectators as well as riders and sponsors prizes in various classes. Riders under age 18 must bring written parental permission. Overnight camping at the track is also available.
Recreation
Summer recreation programs sponsored, for example, by Delphi Parks and other groups, are announced in the Carroll County Comet and on the City of Delphi website.
School Excurricular Activities
Each school district in Carroll County has organized school sports teams. However, there are many activities available for youth of all ages in Carroll County. Many of them are listed above, but for the most up-to-date information, see the “Call Outs” columns in the Carroll County Comet. Activities such as wrestling camps are also announced in the Comet.
Adult Sport & Recreation
Delphi Community School System makes available the Middle School Gymnasium for walking during winter months and bad weather. They also offer the school swimming pool for a water aerobics program. The Carroll County Community Center offers fitness programs and sports teams for children and adults.
